The Senmei SM600-W inner curling machine is the inner-edge variant of the SM600-W outer coiling platform. Same CNC stepping system, same sub-millimeter positioning accuracy, same recipe-driven changeover — but the curling head indexes inside the tube to form the inner edge profile.

The inner curl gives food-grade tubes a clean, fraying-free inner rim that mates precisely with the metal cap or paper bottom on the Senmei SM600-F sealing machine. Working principle

How inner curling runs.

A tube is loaded into the curling station by hand or by an upstream conveyor. The CNC stepping system indexes the inner curling head along the inside of the tube length at a recipe-controlled feed rate. As the head advances, it forms the inner edge of the tube to the target profile — uniform pressure, uniform dwell time, no fraying on the cut edge.

The curled tube is released onto the takeaway conveyor, ready for the Senmei SM600-F sealing station. Recipe parameters — feed rate, head pressure, dwell time — are stored per tube diameter and stock; the HMI surfaces live profile data and flags drift before it shows up on a sealed can.
