The Senmei SM600-F is a single-station sealing machine designed for food-grade paper tubes — the can that holds potato chips, nuts, candy, or any snack that needs a clean, hermetic metal or paper-bottom closure. A servo-driven pick-and-place arm loads the tube, a single sealing head closes the cap, and the finished can is discharged onto the takeaway conveyor.

The frame is built around Ø 40–160 mm tube diameters and tubes up to 500 mm tall, with recipe-driven changeover between metal caps and paper bottoms. The machine is the standard end-of-line station on Senmei's integrated snack can production line, and ships as a standalone unit for lines that already cut, label, and curl upstream.

Working principle

How the SM600-F runs.

An operator or upstream conveyor loads tubes into the hopper. A servo-driven pick-and-place arm transfers one tube at a time onto the indexing conveyor and into the sealing station. The cap feeder indexes a single metal cap (or paper bottom) into position; the sealing head descends with calibrated pressure and dwell time, then retracts.

The sealed can is released onto the takeaway conveyor. All recipe parameters — cap pressure, dwell time, head descent speed, indexing delay — are stored per stock and auto-loaded from the HMI on diameter change. The control panel surfaces production count, reject count, and current recipe on the home screen.
